Our Family Life Center was awarded a "Building of the Year" award in 1998 from the Systems Builders Association both at a regional and national level. Further, the design was recognized nationally by Varco-Pruden in the Recreational Facility catagory by being placed in the 2000 VP Hall of Fame.
YOUTH DIRECTOR
The Youth Director at Gantt Street Baptist Church is Nathan Brackett. He bases his ministry around 3 John 4 which says "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth." Nathan was lead to the Lord by his mother at eight years of age.
JUNIOR CHURCH
Junior Church

Junior Church is for children aged 4-years old through 10-years-old and is held at the same time as our regular Sunday morning preaching service from 11:00 until noon. Nathan and Nicole Brackett are the leaders.

The aim of Junior Church is to get the boys and girls to come to know Jesus Christ as their Saviour and then to grow in Him. Services are taught using a variety of youth -oriented tools such as songs, object lessons, puppets, balloons, and skits.

Every Sunday, a chapter from the Bible is acted out using props with various members of the group. Time permitting, the service usually includes a Bible review game between the boys and the girls where Bible questions are asked of each group with points scored.

AWANA YOUTH CLUBS

The name "Awana" is an acronym for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" referring to 2 Timothy 2:15 "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be a shamed, rightly dividing the word of truth".

The Awana Clubs are offered to our youth from preschool through the 6th grade. It meets in our Family Life Center each Wednesday night from 7:15 until 8:45 September through May.

Awana offers a series of clubs and programs geared to the needs of our youth. Awana clubs and programs effectively reach young people with the good news of Jesus Christ.
