| The promise of Hebrews 6:14 ("… Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.") was fulfilled again on May 31, 2011 when the congregation of Gantt Street Baptist Church moved into its third auditorium since the church was established in 1953. After prayerful consideration of several building options to alleviate our crowded facilities, we chose to append a new structure to the right side of our Family Life Center, aesthetically blending it so as to give the appearance of oneness. The result is a beautiful 26,267 square-foot facility that includes an 842-seat auditorium with a balcony, spacious foyer, 78-person choir loft, expanded nursery and toddler facilities, numerous Sunday School classrooms, a 63,000 square foot parking lot and live streaming video capability from the church website for the three weekly preaching services. | |
