The men’s group at Gantt Street Baptist Church meets each month to share God’s word and enjoy a time of fellowship. A couple of our ladies prepare a delicious meal that we all enjoy. An inspirational message is presented by one of our men. On special occasions we are blessed to have visiting missionaries or preachers bring the message. For several years in November we have hosted a fellowship to honor our retired career military members. From time to time, we plan work events to assist mission churches with repair and remodeling projects. We have also assisted widowed church members with their handicapped needs. About two times a year a group of our men travel to the mountains of North Carolina to cut fire wood and help maintain the buildings of Second Chance Ranch, a home for boys.
